About Kevin
Kevin graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the Center for Creative Studies and is a master of the art and techniques of photography. He has over 21 years of experience with wedding and a fine sense of delicate lighting techniques and beautiful compositions.

Kevin, what are some of your favorite things about photographing a wedding?
"I think the time when the bride and groom are spending a little time alone, or, when parents see their beautiful daughter in her wedding gown for the first time, the pure excitement of walking up the aisle as husband and wife! Watching a couple on their wedding day become husband and wife, there just is "that look". That is what I want to capture and preserve. Those are some of the things that make each day special and memorable for me."

Kevin really enjoys photographing wedding and sees each one differently each time. His work has a lasting beauty and he will see that the images you want are captured. He is a great listener and loves to plan out the photography for his weddings. In addition to weddings, Kevin also photographs family portraits and other special events.

Kevin recently photographed our wedding. We met with him a couple months before the wedding to discuss the timing of the evening and Kevin was very helpful in determining a realistic time frame. He was very easy-going and professional. The day of the wedding Kevin was prompt, friendly, unobtrusive and really assisted in moving things along. It was a wonderful day (despite the forecast for violent storms) and Kevin caught some great moments in the pictures. There is a good combination of candid photos and posed photos, and several very artistic unique photos. Kevin Coghill was an excellent photographer. His style of work was traditional, yet he would work with the bride and groom if they wanted something out of the ordinary. Kevin was easy to reach, and if not available immediately, would always return a phone call. The pre-wedding home visit was a very good idea. It enabled him to view the home and outdoor property and get creative ideas for photos. Kevin captured many great candid shots, and managed to shoot beautiful photos of the entire wedding on a very hot August day. When the assigned amount of hours had expired, Kevin made sure we knew he would stay longer, if we wished. Thank you, Kevin! Special Moments is, indeed, a special photography studio.
